-
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
-
½ cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs, beaten
-
1 teaspoon paprika
-
1 teaspoon garlic powder
-
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

¼ teaspoon black pepper
For the Tacos

8 small corn or flour tortillas
-
1 cup shredded cabbage
-
½ cup diced tomatoes
-
½ cup diced red onion
-
½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
-
2 tablespoons lime juice
-
2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
Instructions
Prepare the Fish: Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels and cut them into taco-sized pieces.
Set Up the Breading Station: In three separate bowls, place flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs mixed with paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Dredge each piece of fish in flour, dip into the eggs, and coat with the seasoned breadcrumbs.
Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 2-3 minutes.
Cook the Fish: Place the breaded fish pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and fully cooked.
Prepare the Toppings: In a bowl, mix shredded cabbage, lime juice, and cilantro. In another bowl, stir together sour cream or Greek yogurt with a squeeze of lime juice for a creamy sauce.
Assemble the Tacos: Warm the tortillas in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes or in a skillet. Place a piece of crispy fish in each tortilla, top with the cabbage mixture, diced tomatoes, red onion, and a drizzle of the creamy sauce.
