Is this pre-seasoned?Do I need to season it myself?
It is pre-seasoned with vegetable oil and ready to use.After each use, just lightly oil the inside of the pan with your oil of choice.
Can reversible grill rust?
Yes. Before using your new cast iron cookware, please wash it with water only and dry it thoroughly. And after each use, it must be cleaned and maintained in time according to the instructions we provide.
Is it normal that the smooth side has some little bulge on it?
Yes, this is an inevitable process problem in the production of cast iron and does not affect the use.
Does a cast iron griddle have non-stick properties? How can I prevent food from sticking to the griddle?
Cast iron griddle do not have strong non-stick properties, these methods can help prevent food from sticking:
1.Preheat. 2.Use a thin layer of oil. 3.Evenly distribute the food on it. 4.Avoid placing excessively moist or water-laden food on it.
The cast iron griddle seems to have small black particles falling off, does this affect its use?
It is made of 100% cast iron, coated with pure natural vegetable oil without any chemicals. After use, part of the vegetable oil coating may fall off in the form of small black particles.(Does not affect normal use and can be maintained with oil）
